friday finds: merry and bright

love holidays. Not just the actual day, but the weeks leading up to the holiday, too. This is especially true for Christmas; there’s nothing quite like the feeling of passing by people’s homes and seeing them decked out in lights and getting a glimpse of their tree through their windows. There are so many ways to get into the spirit of the season, and such a huge variety of decorations, cards, wrapping paper, and more. For the next several weeks, I’ll be highlighting a few of my favorite handmade or vintage Christmas items from my fellow Etsy sellers. This week, I’m highlighting wrapping paper:

As always, click on the photo to visit the listing! Etsy is a great place to do some of your Christmas shopping, and many vendors are having holiday sales right now.

In fact, I’m having a sale now in my own shop; everything is 10% off if you use the coupon code HOLIDAY10 at checkout. I have a ton of vintage ornaments in stock right now, as well as unique gift items. Go check it out at!

These wrapping papers are presents in and of themselves! If I receive a gift wrapped in really gorgeous paper, I like to save it and use it as the matting in a small frame (instead of just a white background).
